Step 1: Location

Before repainting your car, you need a good place where you have some facilities like electricity and plenty of ventilation. Find a place where there is the least airflow.

Step 2: Repairs

You need to repair your car surface, if it has any rust, dents or scratches. Because those things would cause problem while spraying.

Step 3: Sand Off the Original Paint Job:

You just can't start painting with a new coat over old paint. You need to remove the old paint by sanding off as much as possible.

It might take some time, but worth it. You can use an orbital sander to save some time.

Step 4: Wipe it Down

After sanding off the old paint you need to wipe that thing. Use the alcohol solution to make it an easy task.

Step 5: Painter's Tape

Painter's Tape is an important ingredient for painting. It helps to cover those parts which you don't get painted.

So, cover those parts of your car where you want to paint.

Step 6: Primer

You need a Primer that has the property of corrosion resistant and self-etching. After applying the primer you need to leave some time gap.

Step 7: Wipe it Down Again

You need to clean again after using the primer. You need to rag with slightly dampened with thinner.

Step 8: Time to paint

Now the final part you waited for. Painting would be the quickest thing. Make sure to maintain a gap of six inches from the nozzle of the Paint Sprayer.

Spraying close to the car would result in widespread of the paint.

Once you complete the painting and remove the Painter's tape from the car.

Now leave the Car to dry.
